The number of managers at the University who have consulted the Occupational Health Service for preventive purposes has risen during the pandemic. "It is easy to feel that you are losing control when things change quickly and you don't know exactly how your employees are coping at home", says Anne Link, head of the Occupational Health Service. Rare pattern observed in migrating common swifts

Compared with other migratory birds, the common swift follows a very unusual pattern when it migrates from the breeding areas in Europe to its wintering locations south of the Sahara. This is what researchers have observed in a major eleven-year international study of the birds. “Our study is very significant for understanding how organisms, in this case the common swift, can migrate from one part

Consultant’s warning: “Major consequences to falling outside the top 100”

Lund University has been sliding down the lists of the three main university ranking organisations for several years. 100 days of Trump – and what the researchers have to say about them

This is what the researchers at LUSEM have said in the media in April, relating to the policies of the Donald Trump administration. With Donald Trump’s second term in the White house we have seen turmoil on the stock exchanges of the world, tariffs being presented, taken back and reintroduced, American claims on Greenland, Mexico and Canada, and chocking remarks by the president on Ukraine and Gaz

The Academic Quarter – Yes, No, Sometimes

In certain situations it is used, in others, not. We take a look at the use of the academic quarter at LUSEM today and share some background on where the tradition comes from. The classic explanation is that in times past the students did not necessarily own watches and had to rely on the church bells to know what time it was. When you heard the bells of Lund’s cathedral strike the full hour, you
